https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=216155 andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de ------- Comment #2 from andreas.hanke@gmx-topmail.de 2006-11-06 10:45 MST ------- This is the commit where the bug has been introduced: http://www.directfb.org/index.php/viewcvs.cgi/DirectFB/include/directfb.h.diff?r1=1.273&r2=1.274 Well, I couldn't reproduce a build error out of this, so it's a maybe a worksforme candidate. But it is indeed a bug. I think it's a build error only with -pedantic and/or -Werror and/or when using a C++ compiler. Maybe I should contact upstream, because they are fixing such bugs, e.g. this commit http://www.directfb.org/index.php/viewcvs.cgi/DirectFB/include/directfb.h.diff?r1=1.37&r2=1.38 is quite exactly the same bug in a different place, and has been fixed. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

And after removing the comma it was compiling. BTW: I used libxine1-1.1.2cvs-20061015.pm.0.src.rpm from packman because I need the vdr-socket-patch, which is included in the packman-packages. And because they arn't supporting 10.2 yet, I wanted to build it myself. DirectFB was version 0.9.25-18 from the beta1-isos, but in curent factory's 0.9.25-19 there still is the comma: /usr/include/directfb/directfb.h ll. 844-854: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- typedef enum [ DFDESC_ATTRIBUTES = 0x00000001, /* attributes field is valid */ [...] DFDESC_FRACT_WIDTH = 0x00000040, /* fractional width is set */ } DFBFontDescriptionFlags; ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Patching -pedantic out of libstk's configure.in worked around it. Should still be fixed in DirectFB-devel IMO ;) -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

Yes, these test packages resolve the issue and libstk compiles successfully against them. The reason is that libstk does exactly what I mentioned in comment 2: It uses a C++ compiler together with -pedantic.
