I just installed kmobiletools.

# /opt/kde3/bin/kmobiletools
/opt/kde3/bin/kmobiletools: error while loading shared libraries:
libkmobiletools.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

# ldconfig
# /opt/kde3/bin/kmobiletools

now it works ...
