http://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=908733 Bug ID: 908733 Summary: Hibernate/Suspend failing constantly Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE Distribution Version: 13.2 Hardware: HP OS: openSUSE 13.2 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: X.Org Assignee: bnc-team-xorg-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Reporter: blacketi@gmail.com QA Contact: xorg-maintainer-bugs@forge.provo.novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- Created attachment 616196 --> http://bugzilla.suse.com/attachment.cgi?id=616196&action=edit Xorg.0.log.old Hi, After i try to hibernate(to disk) or supend(to ram), even if i manage to make it happen(the system turns off) when i resume the system it freezes after some seconds of operation. I tryed pm-suspend/pm-hibernate with the same result. When pm-hibernate fails the Caps Lock LED comes on and than i must hard-shutdown. When invoking pm-suspend the system does go to suspend BUT on resume i log in and after roughly 10-20 sec the system freezes. I must hard-shutdown. The results when trying to go to hibernate/suspend over the KDE menu are the same. Also, when hib/sus fails i must rebuild GRUB2, this is the only way to show it up again at boot time. Hardware: HP ProBook(i5, 6gb ram, hybrid graphics-intel/ati) Software: openSuse 13.2 with dualboot Windows 7 -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug.
