It has been decided that last KDE openSUSE IRC meeting that Pulse Audio should be disabled by default in KDE installations. This should be so even if something else pulls in PA as a dependency. Please explicitly disable Pulse Audio during installation if it is a KDE installation (similarly to like how KDM is set up as the login manager if it is a KDE installation). Additionally, from bug #537780, it seems that the initial PA status is not written to /etc/sysconfig/sound. Therefore it seems that Yast should also explicitly enable PA in GNOME installs. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
