Will slab be ported to gtk3 so that way one can use it in GNOME fall back mode to manually set up the old GNOME 2 experience?
Right now, nobody is working on it. We'd like to have it ported, but unless someone steps up, it might just not happen... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I'd rather have something like:
=== GNOME 3 offers a new design for the desktop that is different from GNOME 2. As a result, and in order to have users benefit from the changes, the look and feel of your desktop will not be migrated automatically. The System Settings can be used to customize GNOME 3, and an advanced tool (gnome-tweak-tool) is provided for more detailed customization.
If you happen to use the fallback mode, note that you can customize the panels by pressing Alt when right-clicking on them. ===
(I don't think we need to specify exact reasons why things were done this way)
Thanks, sounds good! I'm going to add it: <sect3 id="gnome3"> <title>GNOME 3</title> <!-- bnc#708211 --> <para> GNOME 3 offers a new design for the desktop that is different from GNOME 2.
