What exactly is the point? It's just virtual address space, no physical memory gets mapped.
For the common desktop user, who might not know the exact dynamics of the memory shown by gnome-system-monitor, it just means that 200 MiB's of extra physical memory is being used for no reason. Whether it's just virtual space or physical memory gnome-system-monitor has never displayed such abnormal memory consumption before (<= 11.1).
