To be clear regarding the temporary workaround, your /boot/grub/menu.lst file should look something like this: ###Don't change this comment - YaST2 identifier: Original name: xen-xen### title XEN root (hd0,1) kernel /boot/xen-pae.gz module /boot/vmlinuz-xen root=/dev/sda2 resume=/dev/sda1 showopts ... module /boot/initrd-xen Notice that the hypervisor line has been changed from xen.gz to xen-pae.gz.
