Don't know what causes it, but every time I log in I get more of those dialogs asking for a password, this gets really annoying. I have no clue what it is, what is the app behind it, have been looking to the ps output to see a process that is not there on other systems, still haven't found it. My thought is now that is must be something not started from the user's account since it wants the users password. I think this is reproducible with an encrypted home and wifi setup in that user's home using kwallet to store the messages. As soon as that is done the popups appear. I once entered the password and selected to remember this and then an entry in kwallet for SolidLuks was created with the user's password. Another time I started first in root and then the same popup appeared asking the password for the same user, supposedly to set up the wifi from which the credentials were stored in that user's kwallet. Clicking cancel does not have any negative effect, haven't experienced none anyway.
