Thanks Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. It works when attaching before boot. But not when its already online. As far as I researched probably the new version of libvirt is already fixed. However I am not sure unless I switch to fedora or redhat or debian based system. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

By the way I tried to add the virtualization repo and update the kvm_server pattern and it did more harm than good. I cannot attach any usb device anymore even shutdown.
Our usb support there is disabled, as were currently awaiting a libusb-1_0 update. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Now i am getting different error.
I added the virtualization repo and update all files and now I am getting
error: Failed to start domain Win error: internal error: process exited while connecting to monitor: qemu-system-x86_64: -device usb-host,hostbus=3,hostaddr=3,id=hostdev0: Parameter 'driver' expects device type
I'm afraid I've led you astray with this effort to get something in Virtualization working for you. The latest libusb-1_0. which is required as of qemu v1.7 is not available in openSUSE 13.1, only in Factory. I'm assuming you need packages for 13.1, so, if we can go back to the issue you were seeing with just 13.1 packages, that would be best. I can reproduce your issue and am looking into it. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
