Attention!: After updating to the latest STABLE, I cannot reproduce the problem on my machine at work anymore! The strace I attached here is from my openSUSE 10.2 machine at home! If you think this problem is really fixed in STABLE, feel free to close this bug. The only problem I can still reproduce on STABLE is that kmix cannot control the USB headset anymore after unplugging and reinserting the USB headset. Restarting kmix at that point makes everything work normally. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.

The only problem I can still reproduce on STABLE is that kmix cannot control the USB headset anymore after unplugging and reinserting the USB headset. Restarting kmix at that point makes everything work normally.
Even that works in Factory now: When I unplug the USB headset, the tab labelled “C-Media USB Headphone Set” disappears from kmix, leaving only the tab labelled “AMD AMD8111” which is my on-board sound card. When I plug in the USB headset again, the respectivetab reappears in Kmix and the headset is usable again. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
