in after.local
after adding a after.local service according to execute after.local at boot

i put these statements

# this creates a file "date" with the date inside
date > /var/tmp/date 

#this sets powersaving state
#VM writeback timeout
echo '1500' > '/proc/sys/vm/dirty_writeback_centisecs';
#Enable Audio codec power management
echo '1' > '/sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/power_save';
#NMI watchdog should be turned off
echo '0' > '/proc/sys/kernel/nmi_watchdog';

then
i boot
then
i see :
- "date.." is well executed : a file date with the date inside is well created
- other statements are not executed
with powertop i see that all these powersaving parameters are not set to
powersaving value

if before the following statements

#VM writeback timeout
echo '1500' > '/proc/sys/vm/dirty_writeback_centisecs';
#Enable Audio codec power management
echo '1' > '/sys/module/snd_hda_intel/parameters/power_save';

i put "sleep 1 m"
then
the statements are executed !

i have same pb with laptop-mode :

some statements are executed , some not

for example all about hd powersaving settings are executed
all about usb autosuspend settings are not executed
