Problem: kpartx-0.6.2+suse20170412.35e16a42-2.4.1.x86_64 requires libdevmapper.so.1.02()(64bit), but this requirement cannot be provided uninstallable providers: device-mapper-1.02.97-72.2.x86_64[download.opensuse.org-oss] device-mapper-1.02.97-73.3.1.x86_64[download.opensuse.org-oss_1] device-mapper-1.02.97-72.2.x86_64[http-download.opensuse.org-9e05b86d] Solution 1: Following actions will be done: downgrade of device-mapper-1.02.134-1.1.x86_64 to device-mapper-1.02.97-73.3.1.x86_64
device-mapper-1.02.134-1.1.x86_64 is not a package we ever ship on Leap 42.2. You are using it from somewhere, but not the distribution. Your version has split library packages, so this may be the Tumbleweed or devel project package:
deinstallation of libdevmapper-event1_03-1.02.134-1.1.x86_64 deinstallation of libdevmapper1_03-1.02.134-1.1.x86_64 deinstallation of thin-provisioning-tools-0.6.2-1.1.x86_64
So yes, just downgrade to the distribution package.
