In a console, I get the error : [????????] x11 video output error: X11 request 141.19 failed with error code 11: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) X Error of failed request: BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 141 (XVideo) Minor opcode of failed request: 19 () Serial number of failed request: 95 Current serial number in output stream: 96 Whenever I deactive 3D acceleration, videolan vlc diplays videos normally. My environment is KDE4. Whenever I deactive 3D acceleration, videolan vlc diplays videos normally. My environment is KDE4.

Maybe this could be an interim solution: Only apply the big Virtual size if DualHead mode is activated and configured for Xinerama in SAX2. And: If DualHead is configured for Xinerama, use the minimun needed virtual resolution (+16 or +8), which depends on monitor-layout and their max.resolutions. (or is a big virtual size also necessary for Cloned Multihead setup?)
