How to reproduce: - start the YaST packagemanager - go to the repository manager - click "add" - select a network repositoy type (for example HTTP or NFS) - enter the needed data (servername and directory) - click "Edit complete URL" Result: the URL field is empty Expected result: the URL field should contain the data the user entered before, combined to an URL. Now do it the other way round: - enter a URL - switch to "Edit parts of the URL" Result: all fields emtpy Expected result: fields contain data splitted out of the URL. This bug exists for FTP, HTTP, HTTPS, SMB/CIFS and NFS. Two additional small issues: a) Is there a special reason why NFS is the only network source that is not part of the protocol selector of the FTP/HTTP/HTTPS/SMB/CIFS dialog? If not, please include it there. b) The "specify URL" (german "URL angeben") should use the same dialog as FTP/HTTP/etc. does, with "Edit complete URL" preselected (I can open separate enhancement requests for these two things, just tell me to do so if you don't want to handle them while fixing the bug.) (no y2logs this time - they don't contain useful information on this.
