https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=704806 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=704806#c0 Summary: Gwibber -> Facebook a not changeable prefix in Front of your status message called "is" Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.4 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Minor Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: info@sarazin.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:5.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/5.0 There is not a critical bug in Gwibber. You get a FB account and log in from gwibber, after that you will post a new message from gwibber to Facebook, the message on facebook looks like "is typing a message over the weather" But in gwibber you only typed a message like "typing a message over the weather" Gwibber is setting a prefix, called "is" by its own in front of your message. I think this should get fixed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add a Facebook Account 2. Write a post 3. control your post and see that there is a prefix at the beginning like "is" The fix for this cosmetic problem is easy. You have to change one thing in the /usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/gwibber/microblog/facebook.py Go to Line 374 and change the following value status_includes_verb=False to status_includes_verb=True Restart gwibber and be happy. Now you dont get the "is" Prefix in front of your status message. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
