[Bug 519348] New: Window Decorator Vanishes when Enabling Compiz
http://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=519348 Summary: Window Decorator Vanishes when Enabling Compiz Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.1 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.1 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Compiz AssignedTo: bnc-team-compiz@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: sp4m4cc7@gmail.com QAContact: ories@novell.com Found By: --- Created an attachment (id=303016) --> (http://bugzilla.novell.com/attachment.cgi?id=303016) Running processes User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.11) Gecko/2009060200 SUSE/3.0.11-0.1.1 Firefox/3.0.11 When I use the simple-ccsm program to configure Compiz to run exactly as needed, everything starts working but for one detail. The window decorator vanishes. I have tried compiz --replace and kwin --replace. Neither has worked. I cannot install fusion-icon to remedy this either. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.On a fresh install of OpenSuse 11, log into KDE 4.1 2.Install Compiz using the compiz autoinstall at http://en.opensuse.org/Compiz_Fusion 3. Configure Fusion using the simple-ccsm utility and the enable box. Actual Results: The window decorator(the close, minimize, maximize buttons and the bar to drag the window) disappear from every window. Expected Results: Enabled compiz with the same effects without killing the window decorator. This happens in KDE 4.1 and 3.5. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
