I just had a look at factory package dds2tar-2.5.2-1309.45

For source code file dds2tar-2.5.2/dds_tape.c,
around line 410 is the source code for the
function set_compression_mode.

I notice the following code

        arg = malloc(sizeof (ioctl_arg));

but no matching call to free.  This looks like a memory leak to me.

Suggest code rework.
