Evidently the duplicates of KWallet Manager are actually one each for different versions of KWallet -- one for Version 2.0 and one for Version 15.12.3. Quite confusing as somehow I managed to have two wallets, both with the same name but with different contents. I deleted the wallet in version 2.0 and I think am now using the wallet for version 15.12.3 (and hoping this is the correct one to be using). But existing KDE4 applications still use the KDE4 wallets. Further migration is not done. And we still install KDE4 applications by default (because they haven't been ported yet, at least in time for Leap 42.1/42.2).
