[Bug 681063] New: cyberjack RFID (standard) card reader does not work
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=681063 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=681063#c0 Summary: cyberjack RFID (standard) card reader does not work Classification: openSUSE Product: openSUSE 11.3 Version: Final Platform: x86-64 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: sbrabec@novell.com ReportedBy: wolfgang@rosenauer.org QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- Blocker: --- Just replaced my cyberjack cardreader with a newer version "cyberjack RFIK standard" and although the old version was working fine with the 3.3.5 driver this one always fails. I made sure I have access to the USB device and tested using the "cjgeldkarte" program but only get: Error doing CT_init. (Return code:-127) In /var/log/messages I get the following error with every call to cjgeldkarte: Mar 19 15:12:02 Hygiea kernel: [22627.526692] usb 3-1: usbfs: process 9008 (cjgeldkarte) did not claim interface 0 before use That error seems a bit strange since the same driver's communication works with the earlier hardware. I find it hard to believe that USB communication should be broken now. I'll try it on 11.4 a bit later and also trying to debug stuff a bit. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
