[Bug 301696] New: <update> instead of <install> & <unninstall>
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=301696 Summary: <update> instead of <install> & <unninstall> Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 1 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: libzypp AssignedTo: kkaempf@novell.com ReportedBy: carlos@pinguix.com QAContact: kkaempf@novell.com Found By: --- Performing and update (zypper update [-t package]), several updates are available. Zypper displays them as: <install> foobar-1.2.3 <unninstall> foobar-1.1.1 .. What I would like to propose is modify the way how Zypper shows the changes to better understand what it will do. eg: will it install a NEW package, will it remove a package OR will it simply _update_ a package? In practice: <install> package-1.0.0 <remove> ubuntu-0.0.0.0.0.1 <update> foobar-1.2.3 [1.1.1] -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
