Can you tell which audio configuration(PA/alsa, phonon-xine/gstreamer/vlc) is considered stable to be used in 11.4 with KDE? If PA, does that mean that described alsa sound blocking problems seem to be non-fixable in near future? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

I upgrade to 11.4 from 11.2 In Phonon in the device preference for sound output the PulseAudio Sound server is shown for all output device. In the backend tab: - Xine - Gstreamer No pulse audio -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

If you run setup-pulseaudio script once, is the problem solved?
I had the same problem for Amarok and Flash (esp. Youtube). Running `setup-pulseaudio --enable' solved it for me. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
