I added that conflict now
That is not a good idea at all. We always claimed old kernels work on newer releases and vice versa. This complicates debugging of kernel problems reported as bugs. And also testing kernels is way worse for me in the first place. If you insist on having Conflicts there, I would have to insist of stopping support of older kernels from my side (more explicitly, I won't put any kernel stable updates except for the latest opensuse release). Fix zypper instead. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

How's that a zypper problem?
The original problem; when opening a target with --root, libzypp does not re-scann the targets zypp.conf. Thus from instsys we will update with multiversion kernel turned on, but it might be the underlying system has multiversion turned off. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
