Can you hibernate with Powerdevil as in click the button?
Also please call 'upower --dump' and provide the output
Yes, both buttons work fine, hibernate and suspend. The problem exists with a newly created user, so it should not be a settings problem due to your backports. upower --dump [...] Daemon: daemon-version: 0.9.8 can-suspend: yes can-hibernate yes on-battery: no on-low-battery: no lid-is-closed: no lid-is-present: yes is-docked: no -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Can someone please test KDE 4.7 packages from KDE:Distro:Factory, this bug should be fixed there already.
According to http://www.kde.org/announcements/changelogs/changelog4_6_1to4_6_2.php#kdewor... it was fixed in 4.6.2 and nobody reopened the bug report in kde's bugzilla. Feel free to close it as all is needed is to install kde from KR46 or KR47. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
