If you have the NVIDIA driver, you must fetch the kernel-source rpm to reinstall the NVIDIA driver. Therefore the kernel-source must be updated too to run the opensuse machine without having trouble. By the way if you start yast2 from a non-root user you cannot handle the yast2 modules because on klick on modules on window was opened. This is also a big error.
