OK, here it is:
rfkill list (before network cable plugged): 0: hp-wifi: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no 1: hp-bluetooth: Bluetooth Soft blocked: yes Hard blocked: no 2: phy0: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no
rfkill list (after network cable plugged): 0: hp-wifi: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no 1: hp-bluetooth: Bluetooth Soft blocked: yes Hard blocked: no 2: phy0: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: yes OK, I think this is what the "LAN/WLAN Switching" function do in BIOS. It would be good if you disable this function in BIOS. And also add "blacklist hp_wmi" kernel module in /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.
