https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=274705 Summary: Automatically reduce LCD brightness on inactivity (powersave feature) Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Alpha 4 Platform: All URL: http://thinkwiki.org/wiki/Automatically_reduce_brightnes s OS/Version: Linux Status: NEW Severity: Enhancement Priority: P5 - None Component: Other AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: funtasyspace@yahoo.com QAContact: qa@suse.de A nice powersaving feature would be, if the powersaved deamon would automatically reduce the LCD display brightness (if possible) to the minimum after a few seconds of user inactivity. Someone was inspired by MacOS/iBooks which implement this feature and he/she wrote a linux deamon. The details are described here: http://thinkwiki.org/wiki/Automatically_reduce_brightness I have no idea, but maybe it's quite easy to implement this feature for openSUSE 10.3!? -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
