https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=307219 Summary: YAST2 incorrectly configures /etc/crypttab Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Beta 2 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: YaST2 AssignedTo: bnc-team-screening@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: jfunk@funktronics.ca QAContact: jsrain@novell.com Found By: --- I Installed beta 2 and created an encrypted home volume. Unfortunately, YAST2 misconfigured /etc/crypttab: cr_home /dev/system/home /dev/urandom tmp boot.crypto calls cryptsetup with /dev/urandom as a keyfile, guaranteeing that it will never exit. The correct configuration here is: cr_home /dev/system/home none luks -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
