Could you post whole dmesg output when this happens? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Before 11.1 (I had 10.3 and 11.0 on this machine) I had to use self compiled drivers with the card. First madwifi and later the ath5k from compat-wireless.
You had to add yout pci id to the driver, right?
But the 2.6.31 series has been quite stable with the card
Could you specify exact version of a kernel which worked for you?
By the way: Why isn't there a Kernel:/HEAD repo for 11.2 (yet) ?
It appeared there already. Cpuld you attach output of lspci -nns 3: ? -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Hmm no, I never had to add the pci id. It worked out of the box with madwifi as far as I can remember.
So I think you meant ath9k in comment #5:
Before 11.1 (I had 10.3 and 11.0 on this machine) I had to use self compiled drivers with the card. First madwifi and later the ath5k from compat-wireless. .. The ath5k was very buggy at the beginning, too but has been getting better and better with the time.
Otherwise I'm confused. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

Update: Tried the current kernel from HEAD (2.6.33-rc5-1): no wifi here. ath9k seems to be broken in that kernel. Back to 2.6.31, back to NMI. Uhhuh. :/
Could you attach dmesg from that kernel? I run on rc5 with ath9k with no problems. -- Configure bugmail: http://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
