[Bug 695140] New: When adding a new repository via advanced interface, it is not added as a combo-box
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=695140 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=695140#c0 Summary: When adding a new repository via advanced interface, it is not added as a combo-box Classification: Internal Novell Products Product: openSUSE Build Service Version: 2.3 Platform: i386 OS/Version: openSUSE 11.4 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: api AssignedTo: adrian@novell.com ReportedBy: vladimir@fridu.net QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 Firefox/3.6.13 Hello, My name is Gustav and I am working together with my colleague in the Meego project. We have recently installed the OBS locally on a Pentium machine. We have then created in the home project a subproject containing a package with some source files. We wanted to build this package against the Meego target (MeeGo:1.2.80.0.20110503.2:Core). Since Meego repository is not included by default in the OBS repositories, we had to add Meego as a new repository via: Subproject->Tab "Repositores"-> Add repositories-> Or pick one via advanced interface->Fill in Project "MeeGo:1.2.80.0.20110503.2:Core" -> Button "Add repository". We have found the target Meego repository being well added to the ensemble of repositories when clicking again on the tab "Repositories", i.e. it appeared in the window of "Repository Configuration". But when clicking on "Add repositories", we have not found it as expected being present as a Combo-box choice, so that in future we could build against it simply by clicking on the combo-box. Thus, beacause we work in the Meego project, we will have to redo all the time the same sequence of operations above in order to build against the Meego target. Does anybody now how to make appear a newly added target repository (like Meego) as a combo-box choice when clicking on "Add repositories"? We suppose it is a bug, if it is not, thank you for indicating us the correct way to proceed in order to resolve the problem. Thank you in advance, Gustav Hellmann Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Tab "Repositores" 2.Add repositories 3.Or pick one via advanced interface 4.Project "MeeGo:1.2.80.0.20110503.2:Core" 4.Button "Add repository" 6. 7. Actual Results: The newly added target repository "MeeGo:1.2.80.0.20110503.2:Core" appears in Repository Configuration (click on tab "Repository"), but not as a combo-box choice in the window after click on "Add repositories" Expected Results: MeeGo:1.2.80.0.20110503.2:Core" should appear as a combo-box choice -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
