I have been running some tests between firefox 1.5.0.7 (running on SLED 10) and firefox 2.0 running on openSUSE 10.2 and the firefox running on openSUSE takes about 5 times as long to render a page. For example I went to Novell's bugzilla page in SLED and it took about 5 seconds.
