Could you, pleaqse, be more specific about when exactly boot fails? From your description it may easily be bug of the flash disk (I even had a flash disk which was bootable from one machine and not from another one)

ah, OK. Anyway, when in the boot process does it fail? Does it at least load isolinux? or even kernel?
