[Bug 664794] New: Build service not picking up new QT version
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=664794 https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=664794#c0 Summary: Build service not picking up new QT version Classification: Internal Novell Products Product: openSUSE Build Service Version: 2.0 Platform: Other OS/Version: Other Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: build process AssignedTo: mls@novell.com ReportedBy: axel.braun@gmx.de QAContact: adrian@novell.com Found By: --- Blocker: --- User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; de; rv:1.9.2.13) Gecko/20101203 SUSE/3.6.13-0.2.1 Firefox/3.6.13 I'm building a program to vizualize meteo data. It requires a recent version of QT, which is not present in openSUSE 11.1. So I added QT46 to the build environment (raw configuration): # <repository name="openSUSE_11.1"> # <path repository="standard" project="openSUSE:11.1"/> # <path repository="openSUSE_11.1" project="KDE:Qt46"/> When the environment is set up, it is not installing the new qt: ... installing libqt4-qt3support-4.4.3-4.6 installing qwt-5.2.1-3.1 installing libqt4-devel-4.4.3-4.6 ... which then results in an compilation error. Anything I missed, or is it a buildservice-problem? Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.

(And you probably also want just the "KDE:Qt46" entry, es openSUSE:11.1 will get dragged in automatically. So simply delete the openSUSE:11.1 path entry)
Thanks for the Info, I asked already in the forum, but did not get any reply. The point is, if I change it to: <repository name="openSUSE_11.1"> <path project="KDE:Qt46"/> <path repository="standard" project="openSUSE:11.1"/> <path repository="openSUSE_11.1" project="devel:languages:python"/> <path repository="openSUSE_11.1" project="Application:Geo"/> <arch>x86_64</arch> <arch>i586</arch> </repository> I get a validation error, unless I put the repository in again: validation failed, output: /tmp/opensuse_frontend_validator20110117-8896-126cfko-0:12: element path: Relax-NG validity error : Element path failed to validate attributes /tmp/opensuse_frontend_validator20110117-8896-126cfko-0:11: element repository: Relax-NG validity error : Expecting element arch, got path /tmp/opensuse_frontend_validator20110117-8896-126cfko-0:12: element path: Relax-NG validity error : Element repository has extra content: path Relax-NG validity error : Extra element repository in interleave /tmp/opensuse_frontend_validator20110117-8896-126cfko-0:11: element repository: Relax-NG validity error : Element project failed to validate content /tmp/opensuse_frontend_validator20110117-8896-126cfko-0 fails to validate -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
