https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=252546 ------- Comment #1 from stbinner@novell.com 2007-03-20 08:23 MST ------- I seem to also not be able to in at console as root/root. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=252546 ------- Comment #2 from ms@novell.com 2007-03-20 08:33 MST ------- yes unfortunately I wasn't able to find a reason for that behaviour. I assume some pam magic is checking the permissions on the password database and complains about it, but on a read-only medium there never will be a "w" right :) It is possible to login as any user existing but su to an existing user doesn't work. It's weird and I think I need help from some experts Thanks -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug, or are watching someone who is.
