But yes, at the right end it is worse. Notice too that this behaviour is not customizable from the panel properties window (right click on it). What I mean is that in the case of the panel it is even noticeable on the left side because the panel is a thin horizontal bar and the help tips try to keep inside the panel, occluding also other buttons.
