KNetworkManager allows you to configure wireless devices but it doesn't seem to remember that you've specified specifics for WPA version and cyphers. It displays the specifics (greyed out) but doesn't show that overrides are enabled. I'm sitting quite close to the router (that situation will change) so I've turned it's power output down to half. When attempting an rsync connection to ftp.heanet.ie, it succeeds every other time! Go figure. Otherwise (fingers crossed) it's working. Not sure what you mean. Keys should not appear in the log. Everything else is a bug.

The NetworkManager log does not show a successful wireless connection attempt. Hence the attached part of the log does not represent the bug here. Could you please try again to reproduce this issue and attach both logs after the bug happened to you? "rcnetwork restart" made no difference.
