https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=333680 Summary: Time wrong Product: openSUSE 10.3 Version: Final Platform: i686 OS/Version: openSUSE 10.3 Status: NEW Severity: Normal Priority: P5 - None Component: GNOME - Admin AssignedTo: bnc-team-gnome-administration@forge.provo.novell.com ReportedBy: landemaine@gmail.com QAContact: qa@suse.de Found By: --- I use Windows XP and openSUSE on this computer. Every time I boot, the time is wrong in the system tray. I also use Windows in my other partition, and since I use openSUSE, same problem. I fix openSUSE and Windows shows a wrong time. I fix Windows and openSUSE shows a wrong time. I found out that I had to do two things to fix it: - Go to "YaST -> Network Services - > NTP Configuration" and enable it - Set "Hardware Clock" to "Local Time" instead of "UTC" I think these settings should be set on a default install, as many people have at least a dual partition.
