All hardware/software is otherwise verified to be working. I suspect a USB driver issue. Assemble components described above 2. SATA drive can be "Hot Swapped" between Sabrent USB case and MB SATA (Power down Sabrent USB setup before moving drive, use proper "static" handling procedures [stay grounded]. Attach SATA Power before SATA Data connector, reverse order for disconnecting. 3.SATA Connected drive-WORKS, USB Connected drive-BROKEN Actual Results: Use the "Reproduce" steps to move the drive back and forth USB/SATA without shutting down/rebooting as needed. SATA Hardware Specification says SATA devices are designed for "hot-swap", so operating this way is legitimate (and makes debug a lot easier). Expected Results: I'd like the External Harddrive USB 3.0 5Gbps setup to work correctly for my system backups. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugzilla.novell.com/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
