I used command line valgrind -q --trace-children=yes rpmbuild -bc a2ps.spec The output contains + sh ./configure x86_64-suse-linux --with-gnu-ld --prefix=/usr --libdir=/usr/lib64 --infodir=/usr/share/info --mandir=/usr/share/man --with-medium=LC_PAPER --with-encoding=LC_CTYPE --sysconfdir=/etc ==7391== Conditional jump or move depends on uninitialised value(s) ==7391== at 0x403450: (within /bin/sed) ==7391== by 0x403937: (within /bin/sed) ==7391== by 0x40499A: (within /bin/sed) ==7391== by 0x402259: (within /bin/sed) ==7391== by 0x4E44943: (below main) (in /lib64/libc-2.5.so) So it seems that sed-4.1.5 is at fault.
