The Phoronix report was exceptionally limited in the tests it ran and really came down to the compiler and the fact that we use btrfs for the root file system. (And Radeon drivers, from the look of it on one of the tests.) If Phoronix is using the root file system for running performance sensitive benchmarks in spite of our own recommendations, that's a fault in the test methodology. We choose btrfs as the root filesystem due to advantages in system management that no benchmark will show. Performance-sensitive workloads should be hosted on XFS. It's not clear that Phoronix has done that and they haven't provided information to make a distinction. In any case, this isn't a sufficient bug report. Each of the issues should be in a separate report.
