Sorry for the delay. I tested your reproducer in openSUSE 13.2 and Tumbleweed
and got exactly the same results with you (rubygem-augeas errors out,
rubygem-ruby-augeas works fine). Since rubygem-augeas is in not in factory, I
filed maintainership request [1]. As soon as it gets accepted, I'll fix the
packages in systemsmanagement:puppet as well. For now also I have linkpac'd
rubygem-ruby-augeas package in systemsmanagement:puppet.
