It's how open source stuff is developed -- the report should be sent to the
right place.  And there aren't so many projects...  The freedesktop.org has a
big one serving many other stuffs, so it's worth to create an account there.

Above all, delegating such a bug report without the actual hardware is even
more counter-productive; it introduces much higher latency at each response
unnecessarily.
