Unfortunately the issue was not resolved, although it appeared to have ceased
to exist for ~24 hours.

New findings:
- Disabling swap file does not help resolving the issue, nor does it help
preventing the issue from happening.
- Increasing memory from 500MB to 1 GB, which is no longer under pressure when
zypper runs, does not resolve the issue nor does it prevent the issue from
happening. This is the case with or without the 1GB of swap space.
