Comment # 7 on bug 954151 from Thomas Schmid

I just wanted to add a closing comment:
a) I have updated my (home) system and moved from AMD CPU/NVidia GPU using
"nouveau" to an all Intel CPU/GPU solution (iCore5 6th Gen, B150C mainboard)
which shows none of the originally reported problems.
b) Upgrading my (work) system which also features a NVidia card, but different
more powerful model to Leap 42.1 displayed none of the riginally reported
problems.
So indeed the problems seem to be caused by the combination of "nouveau" and my
(rather low power, older) NVidia GPU. As for me, the case is closed.
