Comment # 6 on bug 1009932 from Roger Price

Hello Ronny, Sorry for the delay, here is my test report:

1. I checked with  

 openSUSE -> Settings -> Settings Manager -> Screensaver 
          -> Disable Screen Saver

that the screen saver was disabled.

2. Since there is an xscreensaver process running, I killed it with command
"killall xscreensaver" and checked that it was no longer running.

3. In an xfce terminal I entered the command "xset dpms force standby".

4. Both monitors blank for 1 second and then the previous display returns
without any action by me.  I repeated this three times and always saw the
same result.  While the monitors are blank, they continue to show the blue 
power light.

5. I checked that the screen saver was still disabled, and that xscreensaver
was not running.
