Comment # 4 on bug 973468 from Devin Henderson

Its possible that python-gobject isn't a direct dependency of
snapper-zypp-plugin. When I try to remove python-gobject it tries to remove
snapper-zypp-plugin as well as dbus-1-python. I wonder if its dbus-1-python
that is requiring it.
