In a Tumbleweed upgrade in the last few months, the synaptics touchpad
configuration broke. Everything used to work fine. I am not sure exactly
which update broke it.
I am running openSUSE 20150519 "Tumbleweed" (no option to select this above).
In Configure Desktop -> Input Devices -> Touchpad it says:
Synaptics driver is not installed (or is not used)
