AFAIR that didn't help in the forum thread either.

But it should work if you run "LC_ALL=en_US dolphin" (or similar) in Konsole,
right?
Adding "export LC_ALL=en_US" (or whatever) to ~/.profile might be a workaround
then.
But of course it would be better to find the actual reason why the locale is
set to 'C' and fix that...

Can you maybe post /etc/sysconfig/language as well, please?
