Hm, I don't think the problem Roman talks about now is about anything "hanging"
really.
AIUI, it's just about the fact that you see a text mode login prompt for a
short while on shutdown after the graphical session is terminated, before the
plymouth splash is shown again. (which I see here too, btw)

Might even be just related to the option "ShowDelay=5" that's in
/etc/plymouthd.conf by default...
@Roman: Maybe try to change that to a different value. You might have to run
mkinitrd afterwards for the change to have any effect, I'm not sure.
