I'm a little bit confused by your question. I have very simple installation (all defaults with for openSuse 13.2 installation - KDE, UEFI, 64 bit on btrfs + propriate codecs). I'm using this machine as a testing valley for backup/restore + codecs before dropping windows and reformat all to btrfs. If it helps, I could provide a list of installed packages/active repositories. The output of rpm -e libvlccore7 is: >linux-jtvq:~ # rpm -e --test libvlccore7 >error: Failed dependencies: > libvlccore.so.7()(64bit) is needed by (installed) phonon-backend-vlc-0.8.0-2.4.1.x86_64 The output of rpmorphan | grep ...: >linux-jtvq:~ # rpmorphan | grep "lib.*[0-9]$" >libatm1 >libdvbpsi7 >libkface2 >libmarblewidget19 >libmediastreamer_voip3 >libmsn0_3 >libproxy1-config-kde4 >libqt5-qtbase-platformtheme-gtk2 >libreoffice-kde4 >libreoffice-templates-labels-a4 >libswscale2 >libva-egl1 >libyui-qt-graph6 >linux-jtvq:~ #
