It seems that as lz4 switched to github, there have been several new releases [1], latest being r131. I have also noticed that current package contains three patches: lz4-killdate.diff lz4-soversion.diff lz4-use-shlib.diff I was not able to find any reference of trying to get them to upstream, which would violate openSUSE patch policy - Upstream Firs [2]. 1. https://github.com/Cyan4973/lz4/releases 2. https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Packaging_Patches_guidelines#Upstream_policy
